Symposiums for Patients, Families, Caregivers and Professionals
|Marion Brodie Symposium - brings together leading Parkinson's researchers and clinicians who share the latest on research, treatment options, medications, and care-giving techniques.||The Primary Care Physicians Symposium is for neurologists, physicians, nurses, pharmacists and caregivers. Leading experts present the latest findings in diagnosis, treatment, pharmacology, and treatment of PD.|
Workshops for Patients, Families and Caregivers:
|Financial & Legal Workshop - For anyone dealing with chronic illness and possible loss of income. Local experts cover essential financial topics including budgeting, savings and investment strategies, and important legal issues.||Good Start Workshop - designed specifically for newly diagnosed Parkinson's patients, family members and caregivers, it covers basic facts about PD community resources, followed by a question and answer forum.|
|Tremble Clefs - a dynamic group of people who meet regularly to share their love of singing, which has been found to help minimize some of the most common voice symptoms found in people with Parkinson's.||Support Groups - offer a social setting where Parkinsonians, family members, and care givers can find understanding and support from others living with Parkinson's.|
